Hello, my name is Aruna, and welcome to my "To the Woods" STEMmersion blog! A STEMmersion is a two week immersion course for students at my school. Students have a variety of topics/courses to choose from. I chose "To the Woods". In this STEMmersion, we will learn about how to "live deliberately" through nature, and we will go explore and become closer with nature. Along with that, we will create writing pieces that are inspired from nature, and we will read writings that were inspired by the outdoors. Students in this STEMmersion will also create a blog, and write everyday about what we did, and how it affected us. Hopefully my blog inspires you to appreciate nature.

But a little bit about me. My name is Aruna Shrestha, and I am a freshman. I play the piano, and sing in choir. I also really enjoy running track and cross country. I'd have to say that I like cross country more, mainly because we get to run in nature! I love nature, and hopefully this STEMmersion course will help me appreciate it even more:)
